Idaho State calculates your grade point average on the last 60 credits of your bachelor’s rather than the whole degree, with a floor of 3.0, which helps if you started slowly and finished well. Post-master’s applicants have a paperwork job most schools do not ask for: an official letter carrying the university seal, documenting exactly how many clinical hours your master’s program included. You then sign a contract with the school committing to whatever additional hours are needed to meet the national requirement, so any shortfall is settled in writing at admission rather than discovered later. The school of nursing awards more than $100,000 in scholarships a year and opens applications in April. In-state tuition is in the cheapest tenth on this site.
